Position Description:
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our services, increase community engagement, expand financial support from donors, and enhance our organization's brand. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker with a background in graphic design and a passion for making a positive impact in the community.
Key responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy: develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans and campaigns in support of organizational and fundraising goals in collaboration with the CEO and members of the Philanthropy & Marketing department.
- Design and oversee the production of content, including print and digital collateral, social media, video, publications, website and other digital portals, ads, e-newsletters, etc., in collaboration with members of the Philanthropy and Marketing department.
- Utilize graphic design skills to create print and digital collateral, event materials, brochures, newsletters, email campaigns, promotional materials, etc.
- Supervise the work of Marketing and Philanthropy Coordinator, external vendors and consultants.
- In collaboration with the Marketing & Philanthropy Coordinator, develop and maintain a social media calendar for each channel with consistent posts and stories.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create and distribute engaging content that aligns with our mission, builds awareness, and helps achieve fundraising goals.
- Develop a powerful, unified brand and enforce brand standards across the organization.
- Assist with planning and execution of successful events that drive awareness and engagement. Creating memorable experiences that align with our brand and business objectives.
- Ensure all parts of the website are clear, accurate, updated, attractive, and easy to navigate.
- Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to optimize campaigns and strategies.
- Manage the marketing budget and ensure cost-effective strategies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or three years relevant experience.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience, in non-profit marketing with a proven track record of inspiring donors while developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
- Strong foundational knowledge of layout, color, grids, icons, typography, proportion, photography, web graphics, and package design. Portfolio Required.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and content creation.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tell client stories and create compelling copy.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders.
- Proven attention to detail and disciplined project management skills; ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and respond to short deadlines.
