About the Role:
Our client is looking for a Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Supervisor with strong contract manufacturing experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manages the shipment receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
- Knowledgeable using any ERP.
- Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
- Having experience in promptly unloading trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables is a plus.
- Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.
- Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Reviews & approves all inventory requests (adds, changes, deletes) to ensure alignment with stocking policies and strategies.
- Works proactively with site users to create shared understanding of needs, decisions and promptly address all stock related issues and concerns.
- Resolves inventory issues / discrepancies, problem orders and inter-company transfer issues.
- Analyze and prepare reports periodically for the difference between actual production costs and standard costs.
- Responsible for planning, controlling, and managing activities related to inventory control, storing and analysis of materials, to meet production requirements and contractual obligations.
- Establishes and modifies operational methods and procedures.
- Analyzes inventory levels, inventory positioning, planned production and schedules.
- Oversees the liquidation and transfer of stock to reflect cost, age, and demand.
- Initiates immediate actions in out-of-stock situations.
- Ensures materials are available to meet production schedules per master schedules.
- Material Management; coordinate material needs and manufacturing plans between various internal organizations and customers by utilizing computerized inventory systems, monitoring simulations, and forecasting data.
- Conducts daily analyses to anticipate and resolve potential inventory problems. Solid forecasting and allocations.
- Provides monthly completion of all inventory adds, deletes, inventory stock level changes, and stock avoidance.
- Oversees process of all return to stock to control and prevent excessive unusable stock.
- Runs, reviews and develops KPI reports and inventory scorecard.
- Focal point to investigate all out of stock items. Identifying and recording the problems by conducting a root cause analysis. Recommending a solution to fix the problem.
- Conduct employee performance evaluations and initiate corrective/disciplinary actions if needed.
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of contract manufacturing experience
- Strong experience using excel, specifically with pivot tables and v-lookup’s.
- Strong Inventory control experience
