Community Impact Coordinator- Job Description
As a Community Impact Coordinator, you’ll build strong community partnerships, network and strategize with our guests on building a lasting experience at Chicken N Pickle.
Responsibilities:
- Embody Chicken N Pickle’s core values: Authenticity, Community, Connection, Integrity, and Quality
- Demonstrates and supports a culture of diversity, equality, and inclusion
- Respond to all phone calls, letters, e-mails, and drop-ins with requests for donations and fundraisers.
- Community Coordinators meet as many people on property as we can to talk about our fundraising opportunities.
- Find a way to a “yes” with community partners.
- Work with the general manager to fill the property in non-prime time spots.
*Pickleball Tournaments: - CNP Foundation will donate all the court time 2x a month –
Community person expected to attend
* Corn Hole Tournaments
*Bingo
*Trivia
*Dinners/ticketed events
*Donate space for board meetings, church events, etc.
*Form relationships in the community and fill the once a week Give Back Nights and Green
Cup Campaigns. This is a process that includes gathering information for accounting and
seeing the process through until the check is handed to the organization after the event.
- Attend weekly marketing, community, manager, meetings.
- Be responsive to all requests, emails from Community Director
- Provide information on what we have donated and accomplished - Keep monthly stat sheet up to date
- Up to date cheat sheets – emailed Bi-monthly
- Social media content as needed by marketing
- Monthly Employee newsletter
- Attend pre game meetings
- Support field marketing
- Engage with community groups on the pickleball court
- Volunteer opportunities for small groups or departments on a monthly basis
- Coordinate with and support the events and accounting departments
- Support school assemblies
- Coordinate Property wide charity events:
*Wine Walk
*Beer Bash
*Day of Giving - Tuesday after Labor Day
- Create and hand out Employee Birthday Cards
- Constant Communication with our staff about the community team and the work they are doing
- Be involved in property events for holidays:
*9/11
*Veterans Day
*MLK Day
- Companywide community incentives
- Ensure your location embodies the community core values throughout the entire property
- Be the properties friendly, positive, outgoing personality who relates well and gets along with staff
Key Qualifications:
- 3+ years previous nonprofit experience.
- Strong consultative experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and fluid environment
- Excellent self-accountability for high personal standards of conduct and professionalism
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, return guests, co-workers, and management
- Flexible in approach; can readily adapt to business and team needs and changes
- Excellent interpersonal and people skills as well as verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new software programs
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, preferred
