Job Description:
As a Financial Advisor, you will serve as a driving force in the company. Meeting one-on-one with appointments generated from the Marketing Department, you will spearhead the implementation of our Capital Confidence Plan process. Through meaningful conversation, you will uncover prospect wants and needs while building relationships and establishing trust. Financial Advisors are then assisted by our Lead Advisors and Financial Planning Manager, who create and implement the financial plan based off each prospect’s current income, investment, tax, healthcare, and giving plan. By converting prospects to clients and creating confidence in the company’s ability to serve them, you’ll have a significant impact on the firm’s generation of business.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Converting prospects, sourced by the Marketing Department, into clients
- Uncovering and understanding wants and needs of prospect through conversation
- Follow the established 5-step sales process
- Expand, manage, and retain strong prospect and client relationships
- Transition client to Lead Advisor for implementation of financial plan
- Exceed individual and team goals
- Better the company and community
You are perfect for this role if you have:

- Bachelor’s degree (Business, Finance, Economics, or related major preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in the financial industry, advising experience preferred
- Sales experience preferred, in any industry
- Life and Health Insurance License; Series 65 and/or 7 License
- Superior organizational, interpersonal & management skills
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
- Experience with Redtail/CRM preferred

Compensation will be made up of a competitive salary with benefits (insurance, 401k with match, disability, paid volunteer time, profit sharing) and covered advisor fees (state registration fees, technology, E&O).
The starting base salary for this role will be $60,000-$85,000 (OTE $100,000- $150,000).
