Job Title : Associate Asset Management Librarian

Job description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Asset Management Librarian - Logistics to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the logistics of asset shipping and receiving, maintaining the asset library, and ensuring the accurate labeling and tracking of assets. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient asset management and supporting our team’s operational needs.
Key responsibilities
- Meet with clients, resolve their needs and requirements, provide strategic advice, and handle their assets efficiently.
- Responsible for shipping & receiving of Assets. Also responsible for scheduling and allocation of Assets
- Shipping/Receiving: Lead all aspects of shipping and receiving, including freight shipments. Ensure accurate and timely communication of shipping & receiving details to Designated Responsible Individuals (DRIs).
- Asset Distribution: Coordinate the check-in and check-out process of assets in the library. Maintain accurate records and ensure proper handling and storage of assets. Ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded and that assets are tracked.
- Daily Audits: Conduct daily audits of assets to ensure accuracy and completeness of inventory records.
- Asset Labeling: Create and apply labels to assets. Ensure that all assets are properly labeled and tracked in the inventory system.
- Offsite Location Asset Transportation: Coordinate and manage the transportation of assets to and from offsite locations. Ensure that all transported assets are accounted for and properly documented.
Required Skills:
- Experience: Previous experience in logistics, asset management, or a related field, particularly with high-security or military assets. Previous experience handling military assets
- Skills: Attention to detail, Strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently. Excellent communication skills are essential to proficiently coordinate with team members, DRIs, and external stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and transport heavy items as needed for asset management and logistics tasks.

- Location: This position may require travel to various locations, including offsite facilities from the main location.
Work Schedule: Full-time, 100% On-Site, Monday - Friday
