Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Emergency Department Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Active state RN license (willing to consider clinicians with a pending state license) Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, ESI Triage (Emergency Severity Index) Must-Have: - Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an RN in Emergency Department - Team player mindset - Commitment to patient-first care Job Description: - Work in the Emergency Department providing top-notch care for trauma, stroke, cardiac, and general medical patients - Manage and operate equipment such as vents, IV pumps, bipap, fluid warmer, bair hugger, cardiac monitors/defibrillators, and EKG - Maintain patient ratios of 1:4-5 - Uphold the highest standards of professional conduct and patient care - Engage with patients and families, delivering compassionate and efficient care - Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations Please note that orientation hours and dress code requirements include wearing galaxy blue scrubs; no hoodies or artificial nails. Familiarity with Cerner EMR is beneficial. Weekend shifts required every third weekend, with no float requirements to other units. This position is open due to vacancy.
