Salary: $90,000-$140,000+10% bonus

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support our facility's power, controls, and automation systems for existing and new products. This role involves ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our electrical systems, as well as contributing to future upgrades and investments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technology Management:
- Stay updated on advancements in power, automation, and control technologies.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive database of plant electrical and control equipment.
- Support and troubleshoot all plant processes and control systems.
- Project Support:
- Oversee electrical and control hardware for optimal reliability.
- Install, program, and repair systems used for production control and measurement.
- Conduct fault analysis and execute maintenance plans.
- Collaborate with teams to standardize electrotechnical infrastructure and ensure effective communication of significant events.
- Innovation:
- Represent electrical and automation needs in new projects.
- Maintain relationships with innovation teams within the industry.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Work with R&D and engineering to optimize systems and improve energy efficiency.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety and legal procedures.
- Train maintenance and operations staff on automation systems.
- Manage third-party contractors for engineering support and maintenance.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial food plant setting.
- 3-5 years in an electrical engineering role.
- Strong independent working style with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficient in critical thinking and complex problem-solving.
- Creative, self-motivated, and flexible with a focus on production reliability.
- Willingness to work outside of normal hours, as needed.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
