ARB Screener - Security Architect
Long term W2 contract - Potential to Convert

Position Summary:
The Security Architect will report to the Security Architecture Review Board (ARB) Coordinator and assist in performing initial triage, screening, and reviewing of submitted designs during a temporary period of high process volume.
Responsibilities:
- Review submissions for completeness, technical consistency, and compliance with technology requirements and best practices.
- Identify security risks and instances of non-compliance in the design submissions.
- Communicate feedback to the ARB Coordinator and design submitters regarding potential risks or areas of non-compliance.
- Coach submitters as needed to improve design submission quality before transitioning the design for detailed architecture review.
Required Skills:
- Strong communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge of networking.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux system administration.
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID.
- In-depth understanding of Microsoft technology environments.
- Hands-on experience with Azure or Oracle Cloud.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with both Azure and Oracle Cloud.
Reason for Opening:
A temporary surge in technology acquisition workload due to a revenue spike.
Day-to-Day:
- Review submitted designs for security risks and compliance with company standards.
- Provide feedback to solution submitters and offer coaching where necessary.
- Keep the ARB Coordinator updated on the status of submissions
The compensation range for this position is $70/hr-$80/hr (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
