Chemist to become part of our Research and Development team in the cosmetics and
personal care industry.

Position: As a Senior Formulating Chemist, you will be an integral part of our research
and development team. You will use your expertise to develop new global formulations,
improve existing products, and ensure that all creations meet industry standards and
consumer expectations. This ideal candidate will be well versed in natural cosmetic
formulation development for skin care, bath and body products and hair care using
techniques in anhydrous formulations, suspensions, emulsion technologies of W/O,
O/W, hydrocolloid and surfactant systems. This role is ideal for someone who cares
about what ingredients are in the bottle and is excited about making efficacious
formulations with innovative textures for our customers. We take ideas and transform
them into products that the end consumer loves.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, formulate, reverse engineer and reformulate a wide range of cosmetic
and personal care products including skin care, hair care, bath and body care,
intimate care and pet care.
Knowledge of FDA, cGMP and cosmetic regulations.
Conduct stability testing and ensure formulations meet all regulatory
requirements.
Assist with pilot batches and manufacturing scaling.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring products from concept to
market.
Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in cosmetic science through
supplier relationships, seminars and continuing education.
Mentor junior chemists and technicians.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cosmetic formulation.
- Strong understanding of raw materials and their interactions.
- Proven track record of successful product launches.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with MS Office software.
