Sales Engineer / Outside Sales Engineer / Sales Representative / Business Development Manager / Business Development Engineer required for global manufacturer of fluid handling components and fluid systems, including valves, pumps, instrumentation, tube fittings, seals, regulators, hoses, etc.
Sales Engineer / Outside Sales Engineer / Sales Representative / Business Development Manager / Business Development Engineer will cover the Long Island area and will ideally have a background selling fluid power / fluid systems, including valves, pumps, instrumentation, tube fittings, seals, regulators, hoses, filters, hydraulics or similar. However this is not essential. Outside Sales Engineers with any background may apply.

Role
Covering the Long Island territory, managing and developing an existing client base and also be able to bring on new profitable clients.
Selling fluid system components and solutions, including valves, pumps, instrumentation, tube fittings, seals, regulators, hoses, etc
New business development and account management
Liaise with various engineering departments
Requirements
Sales Engineer / Outside Sales Engineer / Sales Representative / Business Development Manager / Business Development Engineer
Previous outside sales experience.
A mechanical engineering sales background with full product training being provided.
Experience selling fluid power / fluid systems, components and solutions, including valves, pumps, instrumentation, tube fittings, seals, regulators, hoses, etc would be preferred
