Forensic Mechanical Engineer
Location: Statewide with potential for regional travel
Position: Full-Time
Metric Geo has teamed with a leading forensic engineering firm and is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with expertise in designing and evaluating HVAC and plumbing systems for large-scale developments, including high-rise structures.
Position Summary:
You will be responsible for the design, analysis, and documentation of mechanical systems for major construction projects. This includes HVAC systems and plumbing networks, from initial field surveys to final system integration. Experience with high-rise buildings is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and evaluate HVAC and plumbing designs tailored to complex projects.
- Perform field assessments and system life cycle cost analyses.
- Create detailed construction documents and provide ongoing project support.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in HVAC and plumbing design, with strong knowledge of building codes.
- PE license required.
- High-rise experience is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
