Job description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Design preliminary layouts from engineering notes, sketches, and/or other drawings, ensuring they meet our company and industry standards and codes • Prepare engineering drawings for review and submittal.
- Complete drawing/project responsibilities within scope, budget, and schedule
- Organize and maintain all revisions of project drawings, plot files, and project-related information per our company policies and procedures
- Produce drawing and document packages
- Provide assistance with other CAD related tasks as directed
- Work with other CAD team members, project managers, and project engineers to understand scope of work, schedules, and budgets for each project
- Follow technical aspects and policies of the department and company
- Analyze technical problems; devise new or improved techniques, approaches, and alternative solutions; and communicate those to supervisor for approval and implementation
- Use company’ s current technology as much as practicable to design projects
- Participate in scheduled team meetings and, as needed, project meetings

- Utilize AutoCAD ( willing to train the right candidate)

Qualifications include:
- High School Diploma
- AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or GEOPAK experience preferred but not required
- Associate’ s degree, related technical certificate, or equivalent experience preferred
- Experience in Microsoft Office applications
Pay: $14.40 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
