Job Title: Asset & Wealth Management - Operations - PWM Data Aggregation Analyst
Location: Salt Lake City, UT 84101 (Onsite)
Duration: 06 Months + Possible extension

Duties:
Perform Checks to Ensure Data Integrity and Availability
Oversee consolidated reporting platform and associated workflows and deliver according to established Service Level Agreements
Verify vast amounts of data between multiple systems and data feeds for informational integrity. Conducting reoccurring control checks to identify and research data anomalies including incorrect performance, private equity discrepancies, investment results, asset classifications, and pricing gaps relative to vendor information. Demonstrates high attention to detail and tracking of tasks toward completion. Conducts root cause analysis to identify past or future issues, and how to prevent in the future.
Perform ad hoc and periodic reconciliations and verifications for clients’ financial data. Based on needs for particular clients, including preparation and validation of materials (positions/performance) ahead of meetings. This includes support with high sensitivity to accuracy and timeliness. Some reconciliations include validating data relative to external custodian statements and documents.
Extensive Investigative and Troubleshooting Experience Across Workflows
Master complex systems and processes and then to explain simply if needed. Systems include internal ledger (hosting account, position, transaction information) as well as client specific data such as names, hierarchy, addresses, and reporting groups. Has detailed understanding of data flow between ledger/reporting/client-facing systems and has the ability to walk others through when needed.
Subject matter expert and preferred point of contact for all team queries. Has front to back knowledge of data aggregation (both inbound and outbound), including the ability to support inquiries from beginning phase with required client-signed documentation. Continues support through document acceptance and setting up accounts for aggregation.
Provide high-level client service and expertise while finding solutions and answers for any concerns
Collaborate and Build Relationships with Clients and Internal Teams
Collaborate with clients to provide accurate reporting of positions, performance, and transactions. Is responsible for all data accuracy and controls for monthly reporting cycle which results in printed report mailed to client. Professional in dealings and able to operate in stressful/demanding workplace. Will join calls with clients or other supporting staff to discuss any open questions or concerns. Some clients will provide the data points directly, which needs to be correctly ingested, checked, then displayed in downstream web or report views.
Maintain multiple external vendor relationships and supply chains for data quality and service level agreement
Support continuous improvement of existing processes, develop new processes or enhance existing processes where required including maintenance plans, procedural documentation and custom tools for automation. Works with business intelligence or technology groups to come up with ideas and define requirements for build recommendations. Responsible for checking procedures and ensuring up to date with latest requirements. Leverages knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Pivot tables, V-lookup to increase work accuracy and efficiency. Collaborates across divisions with business management, sales teams, legal, controllers, operations, technology, and external vendors.
Identify resources that can be utilized to support business operations or improve existing business processes
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 2 years of work experience in Operations or related field
Strong interpersonal skills to work proactively with all levels including Sales and Clients
Ability to multi-task and prioritize accordingly
MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint) proficiency
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to work independently and as a self-starter, as appropriate
Strong control focus and attention to detail
