Pay Range: $60 - $62/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Seeking an Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in virtualized storage solutions, specifically using Ceph, to enhance our infrastructure capabilities.
- Design, implement, and maintain virtualized storage systems utilizing Ceph.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize storage solutions for performance and reliability.
- Utilize Kubernetes in conjunction with Ceph to manage and orchestrate storage resources effectively.
- Monitor and troubleshoot storage performance issues, ensuring high availability and optimal functionality.
- Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure processes, configurations, and best practices.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders regarding storage solutions and best practices.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key Skills; Infrastructure, Kubernetes, VMWare, Automation.
- Experience and proficiency with Kubernetes (OpenShift experience would be ideal).
- Ability to manage and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.

- KubeVirt

- Network and Storage Operators
- Hands-on experience in deploying, managing, and optimizing Ceph clusters.
- Ability to use Ceph as a storage backend for Kubernetes environments
- Solid understanding of virtualization and software-defined storage principles.
