Key Account Manager | Southern California or Phoenix, AZ | $130k+
Job Overview:
The Key Account Manager (KAM) will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with key clients, primarily within the semiconductor manufacturing and foundries sectors. The role requires a deep understanding of the semiconductor ecosystem and the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams such as engineering, product development, and supply chain to meet client expectations. You will drive business growth by identifying opportunities for collaboration and delivering customized solutions that align with the client’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for key semiconductor foundry clients, ensuring strong and lasting business relationships.
- Understand the client's strategic priorities and challenges, providing solutions that meet their technical and business needs.
- Work closely with client decision-makers and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.
- Develop and implement account-specific strategies to meet sales targets and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Leverage knowledge of semiconductor technologies and trends to offer clients innovative solutions and upsell opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that customer needs are met on time and within scope, from product development to delivery.
- Regularly present business reviews, forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior leadership and clients.
- Lead cross-functional teams on key projects related to product launches, process improvements, and supply chain optimization for clients.
- Manage contracts, ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs), and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during project delivery.
- Use market knowledge to anticipate client requirements and proactively offer relevant solutions.
- Provide feedback to the product development and R&D teams to guide future innovation based on client demand and market changes.
Qualifications:
- Ideally 4+ years of experience in key account management within the semiconductor, foundry, or related high-tech industries.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing large accounts, ideally within the semiconductor supply chain ecosystem.
- Strong technical understanding of semiconductor manufacturing, process nodes, and supply chain dynamics.
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence client decisions.
- Experience managing complex projects and working with cross-functional teams in engineering, product development, and operations.
- Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities, with a focus on strategic long-term partnerships.
