Material Manager / Inside Sales Role:
- Manage purchasing of raw materials & supplies, as well as coordinating delivery schedules, shipping, and forecasting.
- Process Customer purchase orders, prepare correspondence and fulfill customer needs to ensure satisfaction.
- This will require our ideal candidate to work with suppliers, customers and our internal operations and engineering teams.
Responsibilities include:
Material Management:
- Collaborate with other managers to determine supply needs.
- Purchase supplies and materials according to specifications.
- Coordinate receiving and warehousing procedures.
- Control inventory levels and ensure availability of material.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Keep detailed records on procurement activity, materials quantity, etc.
Inside Customer Sales Representative:
- Ensure excellent service standards and maintain high customer satisfaction
- Open and maintain customer accounts
- Process internal sales orders
- Follow Internal and External communication procedures
- Assist in forecasting with customers to plan future orders.
- Process shipping documentation for domestic & international.
- Keep detailed records of customer interactions, accounts and documents
Requirements include:
- 1-3 years of experience in a business setting
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Familiarity in shipping and receiving
- Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management
- Understanding of forecasting and Sales Orders
- Proficient in MS office
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Self-directed problem solver
- Degree in relevant field (preferred but not required)
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
