A mid-size Defense Government Contractor in the Arlington area is looking for a Contracts Administrator to manage all contracts, subcontracts, vendor agreements, and proposals in support of their Defense customer.
- Administer and negotiate cradle to grave contracts, subcontracts, vendor agreements, and proposals.
- Prepare proposal responses, including management and cost/price supporting information, in line with Customer instructions.
- Ensure clear and effective communication with the Customer and adhere to all proposal deadlines.
- Understand various contract, solicitation, and agreement types, including Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost Reimbursement, Time & Materials (T&M), ID/IQ, and Non-Disclosure/Proprietary Information Agreements.
- Manage and coordinate contract modifications and change order requests.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as compliance with Government programs and initiatives.
- Administer contracts in support of Department of Defense contracts and other agreements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a Business related field or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
- Broad knowledge of U.S. Government acquisition terms and principles, i.e., FAR & DFARS
- Excellent problem solving, analytical, communication and negotiation skills.
- Working experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to obtain & maintain a Security Clearance for which you must be a U.S. citizen.
