Job Description:
This position will partner with various internal and external stakeholders to deliver communications and marketing collateral for financial professionals joining the firm due to acquisitions, alliances, and other large deals. In working with various subject matter experts, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing the implementation of all project deliverables, including writing and editing newsletter copy, creating content for flyers, brochures, and how-to guides, crafting messaging and communications, developing digital assets, and managing relationships with partners from various business units.
You’ve led successful, large-scale, long-term projects within a highly regulated industry, from concept to completion. You possess the ability to sift through complex information, quickly learn about various business functions, prioritize and reprioritize tasks, embrace challenges, identify and communicate potential obstacles, and collaborate with others across the organization.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to create messaging and collateral for financial professionals joining the firm.
- Leading projects and ensuring standard project artifacts are created, tracked, and reported to measure project milestones at every stage.
- Facilitating team information and workflow while participating in removing barriers to timely and cost-effective project completion.
- Generating regular reports across multiple projects, managing and developing communication plans to keep stakeholders informed of status, risks, and issues.
- Interacting with internal and external peers, management, and clients to share highly complex information related to areas of expertise and/or to gain acceptance of new or enhanced solutions.
- Presenting issues and working with management to resolve critical resource conflicts.
- Driving execution excellence by ensuring successful project delivery against strategic priorities, while balancing business drivers, scope, time, cost, and quality.
Qualifications:
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to absorb new, complex information and present it to unfamiliar audiences in a clear, concise manner.
- Strong project management experience, preferably in financial services or another highly regulated industry.
- Experience working with cross-functional project teams and confidence in driving progress across multiple projects simultaneously.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills.
- Self-directed, team-oriented, and able to drive high performance in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to balance strategic focus with tactical execution.
- An understanding of the client’s business and objectives, with the ability to prepare communications that align with their needs.
