We are looking for an experienced water resources engineer ready to pursue project management and significantly contribute to growth in an already expanding firm!
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of water resource projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Apply technical knowledge to a range of projects and utilise this knowledge to mentor junior staff
- Participate in meetings and collaborate regularly with clients
- Research and review engineering principles and techniques related to water resources engineering
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- 5 years of experience in water resources engineering
- Texas Professional Engineer (PE) License (or ability to gain within 6 months)
- Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM)
- Proficiency in hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software (HEC-RAS & HEC-HMS)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Project management experience
