Our client is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Columbia office working within their Commercial Litigation Practice. This is a unique opportunity for litigators that may lack a commercial background to pivot and join the firm's diverse practice.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients, partners and other members of the practice group, and additional stakeholders regarding case developments.
- Manage a caseload consisting of a variety of Commercial Litigation matters.
- Attend and defend depositions, as well as appear at court hearings.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of litigation experience.
- Commercial litigation experience is a plus!
- Excellent academic credentials are required.
- Exceptional research, writing, and communication skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and self-starter.
- Must be licensed to practice in South Carolina.
- Must have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
