Job Title: Land Development Engineering Project Manager

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Land Development Engineering Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Austin, TX. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage civil engineering projects for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments in one of the fastest-growing cities in the U.S. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site development, stormwater management, and utility design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee land development projects, including site design, grading, drainage systems, and utility infrastructure.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring on-time and within-budget completion.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, ensuring effective communication and project coordination.
- Review, refine, and approve project designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design software.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including zoning, permitting, and environmental guidelines.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers on the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in land development and civil engineering project management.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or EIT with plans to obtain PE.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, stormwater modeling software, and GIS.
- Experience in site grading, stormwater management, erosion control, and subdivision design.
- Strong project management, budgeting, and scheduling skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
