Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our client’s team in New York. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret complex financial data to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis: Analyze past and present financial data to forecast future revenues and expenditures, and provide actionable insights.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed financial reports, including variance analysis, financial modeling, and profitability analysis.
- Budgeting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Market Research: Conduct industry research to identify trends, benchmarks, and opportunities for growth.
- Investment Evaluation: Evaluate potential investments and business ventures, providing recommendations based on financial performance and risk assessment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including accounting, operations, and management, to gather necessary financial information and support business initiatives.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in financial analysis or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering accurate and insightful financial reports.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. CFA or CPA certification is a plus.
- Skills: Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and financial software.
