The Residual Analyst in the Residuals department will be responsible for verifying show set ups and payments for various distribution markets for residuals; for learning to interpret and apply Guild agreements; performing tests of residual software system programs; for highest level of work performance, product quality standards, reliability, efficiency and client service; and for support and promotion of Department and Company goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ad-hoc data analysis and project support utilizing excel formulas and pivot tables to generate reports.
- Collect, interpret, and analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Perform verification of residual show setups and payments for various distribution markets for compliance with union contracts and EP established guidelines;
- Maintain working knowledge, application and retention of the union contract provisions, regulations, deadlines, industry standards and requirements governing residuals in general, and for each guild; and to learn and maintain moderate proficiency of research and proper application in accordance with EP residuals standards.
- Responsible for providing support, guidance, coaching, and training to other employees within job area.
- Perform other duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.
- Support, promote and execute policies developed by Department Executive; and contribute, support and promote unity, cooperation and harmony within the department to achieve common goals.
- Maintain high degree of confidentiality of client information, data provided by client and all EP proprietary information such as internal residual processes, computer programs and databases.
- Promote EP, EP services and products, teamwork and positive, harmonious interpersonal relations throughout EP.
JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
- Bachelor’s Degree or industry/job experience equivalent.
- 3 + years of experience as an operations analyst, in an operation or research analyst role, or in a related position.
- 3 + years accounting/payroll experience, (entertainment industry preferred).
- Highly proficient with Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience working with business intelligence applications (Qlik, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) would be preferred but not required.
- Mathematics – High level of knowledge of arithmetic and its applications.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication at all levels.
- Complex Problem Solving – Identifying problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
- Overtime – Work as and when needed.

The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $85,000 and will be commensurate with experience related to the position.
