In full growth mode, we have just launched a search for a Development Manager to join our team at corporate headquarters.
Position Summary:
You will build a market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships. You will Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements, and tracks individual contributors and their accomplishments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains and manages multiple service accounts for franchisees.
- Recommend strategies to expand the business, formation of strategic partnerships, and increase profitability.
- The candidate must have a proven track record of outstanding negotiation skills and a well-defined approach to hunting and closing projects.
- Establish and maintain a healthy relationship with our current and future vendors/partners.
- Sets up discovery calls to review both clients and business needs based on new business opportunities and recommendations.
- Review development proposals, Statements of Work, and responses to Requests for Information and Quotes.
- Experience acquiring business through Managed Service Provider (MSP) / Direct Client acquisition
Skills, Abilities, and Experience:
- 3-5 years of Business Development experience, restaurant industry preferred
- Experience working with franchisees is a plus
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and thinking outside the box mentality
- Skilled with Microsoft Suite programs
- Critical thinking and proven problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
- Ability to lift 15lbs, as well as sit for extended periods of time
Education Requirements:
- Relevant bachelor's degree (Business or Marketing) is preferred or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Job Type: Full-time, on site
Pay: $75,000 / year
PLEASE NOTE: The corporate office is currently located in Woodside, Queens, however we will be moving to Garden City, Long Island in October of 2024
