Our client is one of the leading commercial HVAC contractors in the Greater Orlando/Central FL market. They specialize in design and engineering, installation, maintenance, and service, as well as new construction.
The Role
The Business Development Executive - HVAC manages commercial, industrial, and institutional accounts by developing relationships with owners, facility managers, and management companies. An innovative, goal-driven sales professional will sell service repair work, retrofit jobs, and preventive maintenance programs to key decision-makers. Financially justified, solution-based selling is encouraged.
What Makes You A Good Fit?
- College degree or technical (vocational) school training preferred
- 3+ years of commercial HVAC experience with knowledge of HVAC and controls (BAS) equipment, industry, codes, and standards
- Demonstrated success in engaging, discovering, problem-solving, developing, estimating, financially justifying, presenting, negotiating, upselling, and ultimately booking both retrofit project and preventive maintenance work
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Capacity to leverage communication/interpersonal skills to develop and enhance business relationships
Responsibilities
- Deliver probing concept call meetings to clients to identify customer needs, wants, and all perceived or actual problems.
- Responsible for direct sales of the company's services, including sales calls, preparing proposals and quotations, negotiations, and managing the sales cycle through close
- Ensures that a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained and that sales revenue, gross margins, targeted growth, and product mix meet or exceed assignment
- Prepares complete, concise, and accurate reports, proposals, booking packages, and other documentation to manage an accurate CRM pipeline.
- Appraises and surveys mechanical systems to determine condition, age, application, and proper quantity of maintenance
- Participates in training., attends meetings, trade shows, seminars, and other training and networking events as required or requested
- Keeps informed of industry information of interest to track industry trends within current customer base vertical markets and predict future or emerging markets yet to be recognized by the company.
- Checks on competitive activity and develops new methods of attaining new business and retaining existing business
Compensation & Location
- This position will be based out of Orlando, FL. This is a full-time position that is available for immediate hire. A meaningful compensation package that includes salary with uncapped commission will be developed for the successful candidate will include a base salary, uncapped commission plan, monthly auto allowance, 401K with company match, and comprehensive medical benefits.
