the CFO will own and direct the preparation of current financial reports, summaries and creating forecasts predicting future growth. Responsible for tracking cash flow, financial planning, analyzing the company’s financial strengths weaknesses, and proposing strategic direction.
The CFO will report to the CEO and play a vital role in developing strategy while establishing and executing the financial plan, including formalizing internal processes and controls and managing the financial staff.
The CFO is a member of the Executive Leadership Team and is responsible for integrating and monitoring strategic planning disciplines and active in management to ensure the company’s growth goals are executed.
Responsibilities:
Provides strategic direction and manages the company’s accounting functions, including
accounts receivable, accounts payable, subsidiary accounting, business analytics, payroll,
general ledger, banking, and insurance.
Partners with Executive Leadership Team and helps guide organizational decision-making
through operational metrics monitoring and management.
Partner and support Department Heads by providing effective solutions and timely
reporting of business metrics to help increase overall productivity and business operations.
Prepare and review all financial statements, forecasts, and financial business plans.
Develop and present comprehensive management reporting package including
consolidated financial information, industry trends, metrics, and forecasts quarterly to Senior
Leadership.
Lead cost accounting and assist Sales Management in reviewing customer pricing programs.
Review, analyze, and approve all major capital expenditure requests for business needs.
Create and maintain accurate product cost standards, updating quarterly and annually for an
annual business plan.
Manages Banking relations, including day-to-day operating activities, credit and loan
activities, and reporting requirements.
Ensures that financial reporting is in accordance with US GAAP on a monthly, quarterly, and
annual basis, including annual audit by an outside CPA firm.
Review, negotiate, and annually coordinate property and casual insurance policy renewals
and any policy claims.
Manages and supports the accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an
environment of trust and productivity.

Qualifications:
Bring proven experience managing processes, financial software, developing standards, audit,
tracking, budget expenses, financial skills, analyzing information, developing budgets, and
performance management.
15 plus years of finance management experience in a manufacturing setting .
Food manufacturing/distribution preffered.
CPA or MBA preferred but not required
