Overview:
We are seeking Private Equity Associate to join our client's infrastructure investment team in Houston. They are a generalist energy and infrastructure investment firm investing across the capital stack.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in evaluating, structuring, and managing investments across a broad range of infrastructure sectors. This position offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing firm, working closely with senior professionals on high-impact projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the evaluation and execution of infrastructure investment opportunities, including financial modeling, due diligence, and industry research.
- Assist in the preparation of investment committee materials, presentations, and investment memos.
- Monitor portfolio performance and provide ongoing analysis to optimize asset value.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including management teams, advisors, and co-investors.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives and support senior team members with various tasks related to the firm’s investment strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or corporate development with a focus on infrastructure, energy, power, and utilities.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to articulate complex concepts effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and strong work ethic.
