Information Assurance (IA) Engineer:
LOCATION: Raven Rock Mountain Liberty Township Pennsylvania 17320
Position Overview:
The IA Engineer will assist the government with IA guidance and procedures to RRMC IT. They will monitor, track, and submit accreditation packets for RRMC IT information systems. They will facilitate the Certificate of Networthiness (CoN) process and provides guidance and review of CoN requests. The IA Engineer will assist the government with establishing, publishing, and executing information assurance policies.
- Worksite Environment Information:Basic office work environment at government facility location
- Hours of operation are M-F between 0600-1800.
- Occasionally, project requirements may require temporary adjustment of work hours/days
- Duties are subject to change based on the needs of the customer
- This is an onsite position at RRMC
- Job Duties:Review network audit log files
- Run and evaluate ACAS scans
- Report IAVA status on the NETOPS Reporting Tool.
- Provide interface with the CTNOSC for reporting various issues.
- Provide Security Risk Assessment support.
- Manage the Risk Management Framework (RMF) Program.
- Manage the Information Assurance Vulnerability Management program.
- Perform IA oversight and inspections.
- Provide representation at the RRMC Change/Configuration board meetings.
- Manage hardware and software changes.
- Determine abnormalities, attacks, damages, and unauthorized modifications in the network.
- Support, participate in, and implement on-boarding of new customers to the Joint Consolidated Server Room (JCSR).
- Provide on-going training and technical direction to users and other team members pertaining to IA.
- Job Requirements:?????2 years’ experience working in the Cyber Security/ Information Security field.
- Knowledge of Data Center Security.
- Experience with Security Policies and Procedures
- Experience with Security Frameworks and Standards
- Experience with Security Monitoring and Incident Response
- Risk Management knowledge
- Compliance Auditing knowledge
- Cybersecurity Training and Awareness knowledge
- Vendor Security Assessment knowledge
- Security Incident Investigation knowledge
- A bachelor's degree in an IT, Computer Science or Cybersecurity related field
- Desired Experience:Experience to include network engineering design and architecture, security implementation, firewall/IDS, and Juniper and CISCO router/switch configuration, is desired.
- Experience working with Host Based Security System (HBSS) is preferred.
- IAM Level III Certification Desired:CISSP, CISM, or GSLC
- Certification Requirements:IAT II CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
- Security+ Continuing Education (CE) or System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) are the preferred certifications for this requirement.
- Security Clearance Requirements:A Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance with SCI eligibility is required to start.
