Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer 2 in Chillicothe, IL. The work will be done onsite. This is a long term contract. It can lead to permanent employment with our customer. Compensation is $35/hr + OT including benefits, vision, dental, health insurance, 401K and holiday pay. Cullerton Group will provide sponsorship.
- Support lab testing of electric drive components and systems – performance and durability testing
- Conduct detailed inspections and root cause investigation into motor and generator failures. Inspections involve hands on work consisting of electrical checks, visual inspections, x-ray review, material and fluid analysis
Education & Experience Required:
- BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Agricultural Engineering and 2-4 year experience
Technical Skills

- Electrical testing experience, product development experience, failure analysis
