Position: Brand Ambassador *non-sales*

Website: Caper - AI-powered Smart Carts & Checkout Systems
Pay: $24/hour
Location: ONSITE in Independence, MO + Lees Summit, MO
Duration: 2-3 month contract with likely extensions
Hours: Part-time ONLY; 20-30 hrs/week
Shifts: Store is open 7 days a week, shifts will be between 10am - 8pm (based on availability)
What is Caper?
Caper Carts are smart shopping carts that use Artificial Intelligence and other technologies to make shopping easier. Automated checkout counters unite online and in-store shopping to create a completely new in-store shopping experience for customers.

What does a Brand Ambassador do?
As Caper Carts are being launched at new store locations, we are hiring Brand Ambassadors to ensure a smooth and engaging introduction of the technology to customers. Brand Ambassadors help make the shopping experience more enjoyable and less intimidating for those unfamiliar with the technology.
- Educate customers on Caper Carts
- Actively promote the product and encourage customers to use the new shopping carts
- Demonstrate how the product works to customers
- Provide personalized assistance to enhance customer experience
- Gather real-time feedback from customers
- This is *NOT* a sales role
Qualifications to be a Brand Ambassador:
- Friendly, personable, and able to provide exceptional customer service
- Quick thinker and problem-solver
- Ambitious and sales-driven
- Interested in technology
- Flexible schedule availability
Comfortable with:
- Actively approaching customers
- Steadily engaging with customers face-to-face
- Being on your feet (standing, walking) for long periods of time
- Part-time work (up to 30 hours/week)
Bonus experience:
- Previous work experience in retail or hospitality
- Previous experience promoting a brand or product
- Held roles as a Brand Ambassador, on-site promoter, etc.
