Senior MES Engineer

I’m currently partnered with a global pharmaceutical and life sciences organization who are looking for an experienced MES Engineer to join their operations in the Boston, MA region.
This position will have a responsibility to support, maintain and improve automation systems for several locations as well as working closely with internal manufacturing, supply chain and quality teams to ensure availability of these systems too. You will be the subject matter expert for the PAS-X MES system internally which will involve developing technical solutions to various challenges internally and providing support and guidance to business colleagues and junior team members. This role has several development and promotion routes.
Required skills & experience:
- Demonstrable hands-on technical experience with Werum PAS-X (Korber) which includes leading MES projects, data analysis and troubleshooting
- Ideally have experience working within the pharmaceuticals, lifesciences, biotech or chemical manufacturing spaces
- Experience leading end-to-end projects and mentoring team members
- Good knowledge of validation requirements for control systems (ASTM or cGMP)
- Capable of working onsite in Boston, Cambridge & Framingham locations (and travel between them)
