Summary
The Web Properties team is comprised of 5 people with backgrounds in UX design, UX writing, digital strategy, and marketing technology. We work with internal partners (Marketing, IT, Product, and Legal) to develop, maintain and enhance our digital landscape (website, online banking platforms, mobile apps). The CW UX Designer will support a specific Digital Transformation strategic effort to completely transform and automate our paper-based forms into streamlined, digital flows available for clients and associates to utilize. They will develop artifacts ranging from low- to high-fidelity wireframes, user flows, visual designs, specifications, annotations, and other documentation as needed throughout the design process to appropriately communicate the intended experience to business and technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with marketing, product and technology partners to fully understand the customer journey, potential gaps, and opportunities
• Develop artifacts ranging from low- to high-fidelity wireframes, user flows, visual designs, specifications, annotations, and other documentation as needed throughout the design process to appropriately communicate the experience
• Create experiences that adapt to all supported devices and viewports
• Explore new opportunities for the design system to ensure not only brand continuity, but its evolution to meet new user expectations
• Continually explore the competitive landscape and trends within the financial service market
• Maintain a working knowledge of emerging user interface, interaction design standards and best practices
• Partner with technology to ensure technical feasibility and expected implementation of the design
Required skills:
• Experience with Figma
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design solutions
• Flexibility to iterate on experiences, negotiating feedback from collaborative partners in
real time
• Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently
• Ability to receive constructive feedback and implement changes as necessary
• Talent for presenting creative work, highlighting both the customer journey and design rationale
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong initiative and work ethic to meet critical project deadlines
• Comfortable working within a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and collaborative creative environment
Preferred skills:
• Experience with interaction design, information architecture, and/or product design
• Experience within financial services or other highly regulated industry
• Experience with web technologies (HTML/CSS)
• Experience with Miro and JIRA
• Experience with agile methodologies
