We are seeking an HR Generalist who is ready to take the next step in their career. This role will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing HR processes while supporting key HR functions, including employee relations, administration, and strategy.
This role will be a key support to the HR team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of HR functions. We are looking for someone ready to take initiative and learn and grow within the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Own the administration of the HRIS system, ensuring accurate data management and reporting.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of basic HR principles such as I-9 compliance, benefits administration, and labor law requirements.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and labor regulations.
- Maintain and update HR records and documentation as needed.
- Assist with compiling monthly spreadsheets for Payroll to update premium deductions.
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding through Arcoro, ensuring all processes run smoothly.
- Act as a point of contact for employee questions regarding benefits, policies, and other HR matters.
- Assist with employee relations by maintaining open communication with employees and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Ensure a positive and supportive work environment, facilitating employee engagement and fostering strong teamwork.
- Support the development of HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business goals.
- Work collaboratively with the HR Team to streamline and improve HR processes.
- Participate in HR projects as needed, contributing to the growth and improvement of HR programs.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in an HR role, preferably as an HR Administrator.
- Basic knowledge of HR practices, particularly around I-9 management, benefits, and employee relations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent teamwork skills, with a proactive attitude and a desire to learn and grow.
- Experience working with HRIS systems.
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
- PHR certification preferred but not required.
