Head of FP&A / Tech / Dallas
Finatal is currently working with a global Private Equity sponsor searching for the Head of FP&A for their IT Consulting Business in Dallas. This is an established $700mil business with a clear path for exit, and in need of refreshing and revamping all of its reporting as well as processes and procedures. The role requires at least 3 days on-site in Dallas, TX.
The right person for the role will:
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-term financial planning of the organization.
- Provide financial commentaries and documents to support key financial deliverables, including the monthly financial forecast & update and quarterly financial results and analysis for executive management and the PE sponsor.
- Architect models and analyze acquisition targets and develops reporting to monitor performance once acquired.
- Develop new processes or improve existing processes relating to financial planning, budgeting & reporting.
- Develop metrics to track team-specific, regional, and company-wide trends, identify efficiency opportunities, provide recommendations, and collaborate across all levels.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting.
- Manage, hire, and retain staff
- Prepare the business for exit in the next 24 months
Required Qualifications:
- Experience building and scaling an FP&A function with strong background in modeling, reporting and understanding the best in class.
- Strong background working with a PE-backed business between $400mil-$1bil in top line, interacting directly with the Private Equity sponsor
- M&A and integration experience
