Background
Fire Master Fire Equipment, Inc. is a second generation family owned company with our headquarters located in Springfield, Missouri. Our company has experienced explosive growth over the last four years, and it is time to expand our sales team.
The ideal candidate will integrate into the Fire Master vision with focus on refreshing brand recognition, increasing sales, and growing a team of sales professionals in our four-state territory.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, organization, management, and sales skills.
Location
Springfield, Missouri area
Responsibilities
· Strengthening the KME brand within our designated territory, utilizing a targeted approach reaching past KME customers, beginning in the Springfield, Missouri area and working outward throughout the territory
· Work with FMFE Management to identify targeted territories to add additional sales staff
· Incrementally add sales staff to the territory using the previously identified target areas
· Create working relationships with decision makers of Fire departments within the designated territory
· Increase sales growth with Fire departments within the designated territory
· Increase service contracts with Fire departments within the designated territory
· Contact 100% of all Fire departments in the designated territory within one (1) year
· Research and identify potential target accounts within the designated territory
· Build working relationships with vendors and manufacturers represented by FMFE
Qualifications
- Experience with Fire Apparatus Sales preferred, but not required
- Experience with government purchasing
- Experience hiring / managing sales teams
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent ability to grow sales
Compensation
This position will receive a base salary plus bonus’ for secured apparatus contracts. Pay structure depends upon the candidate.
Equipment / Expenses Provided
· Company Vehicle supplied by FMFE for business purposes only
· Fuel provided in company vehicle, demo units and pre-owned apparatus
· Hotel lodging provided when working the territory and during any exhibiting trade shows unless otherwise approved
· Computer for company use only
· Company issued credit card for company allowable expenses ONLY
Travel Requirements
Periodic overnight travel is required with this position. Extensive daily travel via passenger vehicle is required to service the territory.
