Description of Duties:
Title: Lifecycle/Retention Marketing Manager
Classification: Exempt
Hourly Range*: $100,000-$110,000/annualized
Location: Van Nuys, CA (HQ)
Schedule*: Hybrid, Monday through Friday 9:00AM-5:30PM (in office minimum 3 days/week)
DÔEN is looking for a dynamic and experienced Lifecycle/Retention Marketing Manager to join our growing Ecommerce team in Los Angeles. The responsibilities below show a glimpse into the role's key functions and the impactful contributions this position makes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Define strategies, execute implementations, and oversee the ongoing development of lifecycle and campaign messaging, encompassing initiatives such as email and SMS acquisition, onboarding journeys, and win-back programs.
- Supervises the development and management of customer retention and loyalty/clienteling initiatives, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives.
- Formulate strategies to fortify customer loyalty and mitigate churn, leveraging insights from market analysis and customer feedback.
- Conduct regular assessments of customer satisfaction levels, proactively identifying pain points and prescribing solutions to elevate the overall customer experience.
- Formulate customer segmentation strategies and journey maps for website and email as a part of our ongoing testing roadmap.
- Collaborate with marketing, ecommerce, content, and merchandising teams to ensure alignment between the email and SMS marketing calendar, clienteling activities, product launches, and website events.
- Regularly analyze and report on email / website performance on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis; provide recommendations for enhancing email templates, online and email personalization tactics and advanced features.
- Establish a comprehensive testing and iteration roadmap for email, SMS, and website initiatives.
- Supervise the health of email lists and build winback and prospecting plans to foster list growth.
- Supervise vendor partnerships for SMS and Lifecycle email services; buildout plan for utilization of new features as they become relevant
- Manage budgets and handle invoicing for Email-related and loyalty vendors
Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical skills, including experience with data analysis and interpretation.
- Experience with A/B testing methodologies and familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Creative thinking and innovative problem-solving skills to develop engaging campaigns and strategies.
- Knowledge of customer segmentation strategies and audience targeting techniques.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and customer data management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on lifecycle marketing, retention marketing, email marketing, or a related field.
- Prior experience in e-commerce, direct-to-consumer (DTC) businesses, or relevant industries is highly valued.
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfort with marketing automation tools, customer relationship management (CRM) software, and proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite applications.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of e-commerce industry trends, DTC marketing strategies, and best practices in customer lifecycle management and retention marketing.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodation.
