KBW Financial Staffing and Recruiting has partnered with a global manufacturing organization in their search for a Senior Finance Manager. The position will work closely with the Finance Director, Controller, and FP&A Director.
About you – you should be someone with a "hands-on" approach who can also work strategically to help scale the business and deliver on its growth agenda. You will need to be a strong leader, as you will lead a team of finance professionals in the U.S., You must have a strong background in Adaptive Planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead operating plans, quarterly forecasts, and internal reporting.
- Drive budgeting processes, optimize expense management, and control operational costs.
- Support month-end accounting close processes and prepare financial materials.
- Develop key operational metrics and identify process/profitability improvements.
- Lead the Business Unit P&L, ensuring performance targets are met.
- Drive site financial P&L ownership and FP&A operational improvements.
- Provide analytical insight to assess new business opportunities.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of US GAAP/IFRS and cost accounting practices.
- Proven success managing and business staff, with demonstrated ability to effectively lead and manage a team in a dynamic working environment.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
- Prior experience with Tableau and Business Objects is strongly preferred.
- Prior experience with Adaptive Planning is required.
- ERP experience required; SAP or Oracle is preferred.
