Quality Control Manger
RESPONSIBILITIES
Make sure all product is compliant to the required specifications
Directs the quality of all our product
Directs and coordinates the QC department
Directs an participates in daily inspections
Determine acceptance or rejection of raw materials as well as finished product
Knowledge and implementation of concrete patching procedures
Helps ensure operation and maintenance of the batch plant equipment
Does spot checks
Keeps all our Quality Control Manuals up to date
Preforms daily compressive test
Follows documented procedures
Coordinate daily schedule with production
Perform pre and post pour inspections per the governing body
Generates spread sheets for collected data
Final inspections for shipment/delivery
Interacts with state and local inspectors
Maintain all QC records
Coordinate and communicate with various state agencies and their inspectors.
Responsible for mix designs
Coordinate with dispatch availability of product
Role model in attendance, timeliness, loyalty, respect and teamwork
Help enforce high standards for the operation
Assist with enforcing company policies
Help Promote Safety
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or equivalent
2 year degree in construction management, civil engineering or similar field is preferred
NPCA certification Level I and II
ACI certification preferred or the ability to get
OSHA 10 Hour or the ability to get
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
10 years in the building/construction/design industry
Lean manufacturing
5 plus years in Quality Control
Knowledge of concrete batching design
Ability to read/review blueprints
Ability to multi-task
Problem solver
Punctual and accountable
Computer Knowledge
