Job Title: Associate Scientist/Scientist, In Vivo Pharmacology

Job Summary
At QLD Biotherapeutics, we use cutting-edge Cell and Gene therapy technologies for the treatment of devastating diseases, including AD, PD, diabetes, tumors, and obesity. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our In-Vivo pharmacology program, this role focus on early drug discovery and technology development. He/she will be able to learn by getting hands-on experience of various rodent animal models.
This position provides an excellent learning and growth opportunity, to work closely with an experienced drug discovery and development team and contribute to early stages of research and development activities in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.
Primary Responsibilities
· Independently perform In Vivo efficacy, PK/PD, and pharmacology studies using rodent models of CNS disorders, tumors, diabetes or obesity.
· Perform routine animal handling procedures and surveillance.
· Develop and perform assays for sample analysis
· Provide general laboratory assistance, including laboratory equipment maintenance, ordering, and organizing supplies.
· Carefully record and organize data, prepare presentations, and report progress on schedule.
Qualifications
· Bachelor/Master , or PhD degree in Biology/Animal Science/Pharmacology or related discipline.
· Bachelor/Master with 3+ or PD with 1+ years of hands-on experience in In Vivo animal studies is required, including animal handling, performing routine tail vein/IP injections, necropsy, blood and tissue collection, and sample analysis, etc.
Experience with rodent stereotaxic surgery is a plus.
· Excellent organization and communication skills and ability to collaborate with other teams effectively.
· Strong record-keeping and documentation skills.
