Summary of Position:
The Coordinator, Regulatory is responsible for maintaining procedures and fulfilling daily administrative responsibilities in the Regulatory Affairs Department to ensure compliance of all new and existing products. The Coordinator, Regulatory will assist in providing regulatory support to cross-functional teams throughout the development process. The ideal candidate has exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and demonstrates initiative with a passion for the industry.
Principle Accountabilities:
- Review and maintain technical raw material documentation for compliance to domestic and international regulations (COAs, TDS, Spec Sheets etc.)
- Manage samples and packages needed for safety testing and validation with testing labs, update project tracker an communicate testing status.
- Maintain internal records of product profiles including ingredient.
- Maintain product folders, requesting and filing technical information necessary for Regulatory document control (Ingredient Lists, Testing Reports, Artwork, Supplier Documentation, Registration records) .
- Support product registration, assisting with dossiers and completing cosmetic notifications for domestic and international product launches.
- Manage product retains including processing, organization and storage.
Required Skills & Experience:
- BA/BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or similar required or 1-3 years Regulatory experience in the cosmetic, personal care, or related industry.
- Detail oriented and process driven with excellent project management skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage work load delivering outputs and meeting timelines.
- Skills to articulate and communicate clearly regarding formula aesthetics, qualities and attributes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with a strong attention to detail.
- Can react to project changes and priorities, showing initiative to drive results and solve problems.
- Computer literate including proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
