A premium nationally recognised law firm are looking to onboard a number of Corporate Associates into their Boston office. They are looking for all levels of associates from junior to senior.
The practice group engage in a broad range of corporate, securities and financing transactions including M&A, public and private securities offerings, and institutional and other specialised financings. The Corporate team work across a number of industries including energy, media, technology, life sciences, telecommunications, healthcare, and manufacturing. The team represent a variety of companies from domestic to international clients.
The role requires:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a law firm setting.
- Experience in general mergers & acquisitions transactions and/or capital markets transactions.
- Experience advising on a wide range of corporate, joint venture and commercial transactions.
- Understanding of corporate and securities law matters, including M&A, SEC reporting matters, capital markets, corporate governance.
- Strong academic achievement, alongside excellent research, analytical, writing and communication skills.
- Proven transaction management ability.
Responsibilities:
- Duties will entail drafting documents related to mergers and acquisitions and conducting due diligence in preparation for such transactions.
- Working on a variety of complex transactions for both strategic and institutional clients will be required.
- Advise clients on mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, 34 Act compliance, governance, and other corporate transactional matters.
- Coordinating transaction teams.
- Transaction management and due diligence.
- Assist with managing client relationships.
- Negotiating aspects of corporate transactions.
