Data Governance Analyst
Location: Downtown Chicago.
Hybrid work: 3x/week in Chicago. The rest of the week is remote.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Participate in Data Stakeholder forums in which data issues are raised and triaged for resolution.
• Build and challenge business data definitions with senior stakeholders
• Encourage and mediate collaboration between units with regard to data ownership and data definitions
• Define delinquencies
• Ensure data ownership responsibilities and accountabilities are well understood and executed.
• Advocate good data practices around areas of privacy: PII, CCPA, etc.
• Author, publish and socialize policies and templates to advance data governance practices.
• Enable analytics capabilities by publishing data guides on specific subject areas.
• Advance Data Governance program by identifying successes and areas for improvement.
• Partner with data producers and consumers to define critical data and data quality standards.
