SkyBridge Luxury & Associates is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager for an upscale casual restaurant at a luxury resort in South Carolina. This high-volume restaurant is known for its exceptional service and sophisticated dining atmosphere, providing guests with a refined yet approachable culinary experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, managing staff, and driving revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in all aspects of restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, scheduling, and staff management.
- Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction by maintaining exceptional service standards and addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Oversee front-of-house operations, including managing dining room flow, reservations, and coordination with kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Supervise, train, and mentor front-of-house staff, ensuring a well-trained team that delivers exceptional guest experiences.
- Monitor restaurant performance by analyzing financial statements, managing costs, and maximizing revenue.
- Lead staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations, ensuring a strong team that upholds the resort’s luxury standards.
- Maintain strong working relationships with back-of-house teams, ensuring smooth coordination between kitchen and front-of-house operations.
- Enforce health and safety standards to ensure a safe and sanitary dining environment.
- Assist in creating and executing marketing initiatives to increase restaurant visibility and drive foot traffic.
- Handle guest complaints and feedback, taking corrective action as necessary to improve service and overall guest experience.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-volume, upscale casual restaurant or luxury resort setting.
- Proven experience in managing front-of-house operations, including staffing, training, and guest services.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and revenue management.
- Excellent leadership skills with a track record of building and managing successful teams.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage guest relations and staff issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a positive attitude and professionalism.
- Familiarity with restaurant management software and POS systems.
