The Las Olas Network has been engaged by a mission-based healthcare provider to assist in identifying a Vice President of Clinical Operations to lead their Advanced Primary Care teams across New England. Reporting directly to the President of Primary Care, this role ensures the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered care while meeting key operational and value-based care performance metrics.
This role will supervise a team of Clinic Managers and lead practices as they pertain to operational accountability and improvement, team leadership, recruitment, and P&L ownership.
We are targeting Directorship level and above professionals who have proven track record of over-seeing multi-site primary care operations in a dynamic and innovative environment.
Our client is in position for large growth and looking to identify the right leadership to fine-tune operational best practices before growing at scale.
Qualifications include -
- Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing, public health, public policy, health administration, business administration, or related fields.
- Experience in similar roles: 8+ years of healthcare experience and proven experience in a senior leadership role overseeing multi-site primary care operations.
- Exceptional people manager and team leader: Demonstrated success (at least 4 years) in leading, mentoring, and growing multi-disciplinary clinical teams.
- Analytical and strategic operator: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Proven ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive clinical and financial performance.
- Possess regulatory knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
- Knowledge of healthcare industry and primary care space: Familiarity with value-based care models, including ACOs, bundled payments, population health management, and referral management. Strong business acumen to balance clinical and financial value drivers.
- Technically savvy: Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically SharePoint, Word, and Excel. Familiarity with healthcare IT systems, data analytics tools, and electronic health records (EHR).
