Job Overview:
Experienced Senior Tableau Architect with deep expertise in designing, implementing, and managing Tableau solutions integrated with Oracle databases and AWS cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Strategy & Leadership:
Engage with CXO-level stakeholders to understand business challenges and define the BI strategy.
Drive conversations around data-driven decision-making, offering guidance on how Tableau can meet business needs.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on best practices for data architecture, cloud migration, and Tableau adoption.
Solution Architecture & Design:
Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of Tableau dashboards and analytics solutions integrated with Oracle databases and AWS.
Coordinate with Oracle and AWS teams to ensure smooth data pipelines, connectivity, and system compatibility.
Optimize Tableau reports and dashboards for performance, particularly with large data volumes from Oracle databases.
Ensure seamless data integration between Tableau and multiple data sources, including Oracle, AWS, and OCI.
Optimize Tableau on OCI to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the migration and integration of Tableau with OCI.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
Facilitate discussions between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment on goals and timelines.
Present complex technical information and insights to non-technical audiences, including executives.
Provide actionable insights from Tableau dashboards that directly impact business outcomes.
Governance & Best Practices:
Establish governance frameworks for Tableau use, ensuring data security, compliance, and standardization across the organization.
Define and enforce best practices for Tableau development, data modeling, and performance tuning.
Key Qualifications:
12+ years of experience in Business Intelligence (BI), with at least 5 years of deep expertise in Tableau architecture.
Proven experience in working with Oracle databases, AWS cloud solutions.
Expert-level proficiency in Tableau (Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, Tableau Online).
Strong knowledge of Oracle databases, PL/SQL, and related technologies.
Hands-on experience with AWS services (Redshift, RDS, S3).
Proficiency in SQL and data warehousing concepts, with the ability to work with large data sets.
Preferred Skills:
Tableau certification (e.g., Tableau Desktop Certified Professional) is highly preferred.
Experience with Python, R, or other advanced analytics tools and their integration with Tableau.
Hands-on experience with OCI.
