Magnify is searching for an experienced IT Director of Enterprise Architect with experience within the manufacturing or oil and gas (or similar) industry for this position. This role may be based out of San Antonio, TX OR Findlay, OH. Candidates must be willing to relocate to one of these locations if not local already!

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Business or other computer related degree
- 12+ Years of IT experience
- 6+ Years experience in technical IT architect role highly preferred
- 5+ Years managing a team of high-level direct reports
- 3+ Years experience working in Operational Technology (OT) in manufacturing, oil and gas, chemical, water or similar industry
- ITIL, TOGAF, SAFe, Agile, PMI, Organizational Change Management, Lean Six Sigma certifications preferred
- Experience with microservices architectures and/or generative AI preferred
- Experience with business models, operating models, financial models, risk management, cost/benefit tradeoff analysis
- Proven experience influencing change and behaviors
- Experience leading a team of direct reports AND indirect reports
- Experience utilizing Cloud technologies
Example of Responsibilities:
- Oversee and lead enterprise architecture practice within the organization
- Lead a team of managers, architects and IT professionals both directly and indirectly
- Lead the organization towards continuous improvement of the overall EA framework
- Ensure that the architect team delivers and executes architecture in accordance with various stakeholders by utilizing target-state designs, current state assessments and roadmaps.
- This position will oversee a team of 5-6 direct reports and a team of 80 indirectly
- Create and maintain enterprise architecture framework, standards, governance principles
- Provide strategic guidance on technology acquisition and lifecycle management
- Understands and communicates the organization's vision to the team and creates and assigns goals for each department to achieve the vision
- Ensures all IT Systems are meeting business objectives, and are reliable, stable and efficient
- Inform senior management and others of possible risks, opportunities, potential impacts and priorities relating to enterprise architecture and technology items
- Responsible for the planning, design and implementation and measurement of IT systems
- Oversee large and complex projects and manage department program portfolio
- Manage department budget (including software and hardware, technology services etc.)
- Keep up with industry trends and new technologies as well as changes in regulations to implement as needed. Ensure the organization is up to date with all industry standards at all times
- Manage vendor relationships from selection process, to contract review and execution
- Works closely with internal and external stakeholders, Portfolio and Product management teams, IT, Legal and other departments
