Job Description: This person will be responsible for managing active litigation files, creating and implementing case management plans, ensuring professional interaction with clients, and supporting our legal staff. This is an opportunity to work with industry-leading professionals, providing topnotch legal solutions to our diverse clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all facets of the litigation process under the supervision of an attorney.
- Draft, proofread, and file complex legal documents.
- Organize and maintain case files and calendars.
- Effectively communicate with attorneys, clients, and court personnel.
- Conduct legal research and assist in trial preparation.
- Comply with all legal standards and protocols.
Required Qualification & Skills:
- Paralegal certification or degree from an accredited college or university.
- Prior experience as a paralegal in litigation, preferably, mid to senior-level.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal software applications.
- Excellent knowledge of litigation process and legal terminologies.
- Strong research skills using Westlaw or LexisNexis.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
- Ability to manage numerous tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
