Full Job Description
Seeking candidates with knowledge of Fluid Power products and applications. Knowledge and experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, hose & fittings, and automation are strongly desired. The Territory Manager position is responsible for executing sales strategies, initiating contact with existing and potential customers, identifying needs, and selling appropriate products and/or solutions to meet those needs. Responsible for creating and maintaining solid, long-term business relationships with customers on behalf of the Company and reaching sales and profitability goals.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Develop new business, as well as, retain and develop existing customers within assigned territory.
- Maintain open lines of communication with Inside Sales Representative(s) to maintain the highest level of customer service.
- Work with our Systems Engineering team to Identify, cultivate, and manage Fluid Power opportunities throughout all phases of the sales process.
- Apply technical knowledge of the company's represented products, systems, and services to provide a value proposition that effectively addresses the customers’ needs.
- Maintain accurate records of target accounts, opportunities, leads, quotes, projects, contacts, and correspondence in company approved CRM.
- Work to achieve specific sales growth goals and strategic objectives set forth by Management.
- Prepare sales action plans and strategies.
- Schedule sales activity in order to maximize time management.
- Resolve customer issues or difficulties in a manner that is consistent with the company mission, vision, and values.
