Vice President of Quality

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Quality to lead our quality assurance and control functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management within the packaging industry and will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality standards and systems to ensure that our products meet or exceed customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
The Vice President of Quality will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing quality assurance and quality control strategies to align with organizational goals and customer requirements.
- Leading, mentoring, and managing the quality assurance team to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Overseeing the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems (QMS), including ISO certifications and other relevant industry standards.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., FDA, GMP, ISO, etc.) and drive initiatives to achieve and maintain certifications.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and increase efficiency.
- Analyzing quality metrics and trends to drive data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
- Coordinating and overseeing internal and external audits, ensuring corrective actions are taken to address non-conformities.
- Working closely with other departments, including production, engineering, and R&D, to ensure quality standards are integrated into all processes and product development activities.
The Vice President of Quality will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Chemistry, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in quality management within the food and beverage industry, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), industry regulations, and standards (ISO, GMP, FDA, etc.).
