Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Broadband Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of high-speed internet and communication services for both residential and commercial customers. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a customer-focused attitude, and a commitment to safety and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and test broadband equipment, such as routers and modems, in customer homes and businesses.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with broadband services in a timely manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, particularly when working at heights or in confined spaces.
- Follow company protocols for equipment handling, installation procedures, and maintenance tasks.
- Accurately document all work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in broadband installation and services.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience with Fiber to the Home (FTTH) installation.
- Preferred Experience: Prior experience in broadband installation, telecommunications, or a related field is advantageous.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with networking, computer hardware, and software. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to customers.
- Work Style: Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Transportation: Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle capable of supporting a ladder rack to carry a 28-foot ladder.
- Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).
